Hello Everyone,
First of all, let me introduce myself, my name is Camille Wright and
I am the director of the online Diamond pageants. Our websites are
www.freewebs.com/americandiamondachievement and
www.freewebs.com/americandiamondplus.
I would like to address a subject that is really irritating to me...
there are a lot of online pageants that I have come to realize and a
lot of people are telling me that most of them are scams. Therefore,
since we are new online pageant, a lot of people have
the "ASSUMPTION" that we are a scam as well. Well I am here to tell
you, that we are not a scam. I have visited some other online
pageant sites, and the pictures look as if a graphic artist drew
them in Photoshop. There is no way that little kids or grown ups
look "THAT PERFECT". So I can understand where some people's doubt
can come into play.
Our pageant is 100% real. We are not going to take people's money
and run away with it, we are just trying an experiment with a
pageant that we held locally, but putting it online and making it
Nationwide! Is that so wrong? Must we be punished for trying to
spread our pageant to people who usually wouldn't have the courage
to get on a stage and walk down a runway.. but are beautiful inside
and out! This pageant isn't just for beauty.. it isn't a photo
contest.. it is a way for real women and kids who are beautiful and
who have achieved great things in life (whether its going back to
school at 40 or a baby girl taking her first steps). We celebrate
all achievement and THAT IS WHAT OUR PAGEANT IS ABOUT! We are not
scamming people for money! We are celebrating the beauty that is
WOMAN!
Whew.. sorry about that everyone.. I really had to get this off my
chest because our production company was happy to start this pageant
and try it online believing we would get an overwhelming response..
but the "scammers" that were out there is making it bad and hard on
us to be able to do this and other directors who have legit online
pageants.
Didn't mean to write a whole essay, but I hope you guys take the
time to read it!
Thanks
Camille Wright, director
